Parents MUST attend to register your child. Children are not required to be present at the registration evenings.

You MUST bring your child’s baptism certificate as well as certifIcates for other sacraments they have received. We can not register your child without these documents.

  • Once registered, it is a requirement that children attend EVERY preparation session to be eligible to receive the sacraments. Please consider this when making holiday plans etc.
  • You will need to be registered with Flocknote, so if you haven’t already done so, please use the link in our bio to sign up
  • All sessions will be held at the St Mary’s Catholic Parish.

Baptism

Baptism incorporates us into the Church and through it we are ‘reborn’ as daughters and sons of God.

Reconciliation

In Reconciliation we experience the gift of God’s forgiveness

Holy Communion

First Holy Communion is sharing in the body and blood of the Lord at Mass (Eucharist) for the first time.

Marriage

Information on marriages within the Archdiocese of Brisbane – preparation, your wedding ceremony and support during marriage

Confirmation

In confirmation we renew our baptisimal promise before receiving communion for the first time

Anointing of the Sick

A sacrament for those whose health is seriously impaired, it is a source of healing for the sick rather than the final act of the church for the dying.
